(More customer reviews)If you've ever wondered why it was necessary for coffee shops to announce they offer "fresh" coffee or why we say "Go!" when we look at a stopwatch, this is the book for you. Filled with, yes, random thoughts that draw the obvious yet too often overlooked funny points of life to our attention, this book makes the perfect gift for a college grad, best friend, neighbor, or anyone you just want to mess with. On receiving my copy of the book, I vowed to read one thought a day then plowed through the entire book because it was too good (or awful - Ron, no more puns!) to stop reading. Bet you do the same.

This book does not include any complicated self-help theories or in-depth research on the quantitative benefits of thinking. It will not make you a better person, a better employee, or a better leader. It has absolutely no impact on the delivery of outstanding customer service. Your marriage will not improve, and your parenting skills will most likely be as bad as they are right now. What you will get from this book is the priceless benefit of a random thought delivered to you for less than four cents a day. From that, who knows how much deeply shallow thinking may be in store for you.
