(More customer reviews)I didn't understand the previous review, since I have had no problem with my ice pack at all, until I had to buy another one and realized that my older one has two pieces of velcro (hook side) sewn onto it over the existing velcro that the previous reviewer had issues with. At least now I know I can just sew on a piece of velcro if I have this problem also.
I love this ice pack as it is the only way I can get myself to ice my knee's. It is soft and comfortable, freezing cold and I can velcro it on tight enough so I can walk around the house with them on. Worked so well I bought another one.
Oh..and I guess you can put it on your shoulder, calf and foot too, so it is universal, but works well on my knees!

Lansinoh Clean & Condition Cloths, 70+10-Count Value Pack (Pack of 6) Review

(More customer reviews)We received the chlorine free/unscented brand of wipes at our baby shower because that's what we thought we wanted. What we found in practical use was that it took too many sheets to get thru one diaper change, the closure on the package easily popped open and the wipes quickly dried out. I decided to try Lansinoh and fell in love immediately: moisturizing, sturdy, and with simple diaper changes I didn't have to go thru a whole package. The package stays safely closed when you close it.
Our household is primarily fragrance-free and these wipes are scented. I do appreciate that they at least don't have that mass market "baby smell." And yes, my nose says thank you for the distraction when dealing with the more complicated diaper changes! Still, my dream is for Lansinoh to come out with a fragrance-free/chlorine free version of their amazing product.
Although I wish Lansinoh wipes were cheaper, I've found that the cheaper brands weren't really cost-efficient because we went thru those packages quickly, and when we used the big brand wipes that also came from our baby shower we had our only incident of diaper rash. I think over the long haul using Lansinoh wipes has actually saved us time and money.
While I'm at it, I also want Lansinoh to look into switching to recyclable packaging. Needless to say, no wipe (thus far) is perfect. Lansinoh just comes closest, in my opinion.

Kinesio Tex Tape Review

(More customer reviews)I am a CKTP...or Certified Kinesio Taping Practitioner. I am also a sports med. doctor and treat amateur and professional athletes. I can attest to the fact that you need a good knowledge of kinesiology and biomechanics to maximize the effects of this tape. The tape can be used to facilitate and inhibit muscle function, mechanically correct joint and soft tissue issues, functionally correct impaired movement patterns, and is great for lymph/circulation issues.
The problem nowadays is that every runner/triathlete/athlete want to go out and buy this tape, or Rocktape, and slap it on. Mind you, if it's applied incorrectly, you risk significant damage to your body. For example, if you wish to facilitate a muscle and you end up inhibiting it, you can do yourself a lot of harm, especially over the course of a sporting event.
It's best to see a CKTP before you play around with this stuff. Unless you know your anatomy and kinesiology at a very high level, this tape should not be used. Sure, people don't want to see a professional as it means taking time, a co-pay, etc...but, being you can alter the function of your musculoskeletal system, it's probably worth it to know the correct application of the tape for your issue(s) before you do something that could potentially create harm.

these help a great deal by providing support and i find that my knees actually feel better now that i am able to do some squats.
you sweat underneathe but when you remove it you actually feel heat in your kneecaps.
these were the cheapest price but after barely a month the material is unraveling on the bottom from the neoprene.
wrote to company to tell them ...but never heard back.
but these do work

(More customer reviews)This is our second Thermophore 14 x 27, first one lasted about ten years or so, and we liked it enough to replace right away.
With temperatures up around 165 degrees, this will get in deep to your muscles and joints. A few rounds of 20 minutes on and 20 minutes off will work wonders.
One of the best features is that this pad is weighted all over with many flat metal weights that make it conform to your body for great contact and heat transfer.
Use with caution and read the instruction manual for warnings. See the Thermophore web site for more details.
Seems a bit expensive compared to standard heating pads, but it's in a class by itself and worth the investment.
Note, Don't be confused by the "Automatic" wording, it has a hand operated normally OFF switch. The Automatic refers to the moist heat since you don't have to wet it at all.
They now make the same unit with an automatic timer shut off switch if you might like that better than the manual switch that this one has. This one you have to hold the switch down to keep it hot, that way if you doze off it shuts it off.
The other is called "Automatic" with "Automatic switch"
BTW, the shipping service by 'The Therapy Connection at HPMS, Inc' was outstanding and it arrived in just a few days time. I'm sure that can vary, but my order shipped fast!

I needed support that would see me through my daily runs and speed workouts as well as my soccer games. Once I purchased this leg band I could easily continue with my training knowing I had full support of my quads. It helped get me back on track rather quickly. It is comfortable and you hardly know it is there. Although sweat tends to build up on the warmer days, it is better than having a torn muscles. Honestly, it provides the best support for my quads and I highly recommend it over wraps and tape.
In addition, it can be washed easily and is reversible.

The wording on the package states that if the plastic wrap is opened, the item is un-returnable. How could I possible know the "fit" of the stockings without opening the plastic wrap? So, I'm out almost $50.00 since I cannot wear the stockings, nor can I return them. That sucks!!!

I was sick of waking up in the middle of the night, drenched it milk, sick of those embarassing wet spots that only seemed to occur while out in public, and sick of smelling like sour milk because of a leaking accident. These pads cured all of my ailments!
Firstly, they are large pads so if you have big breasts you don't have to worry about proper coverage. They are very discreet, no one will see anything bulging under your shirt. They are effective, they hold up to 3 ounces of milk and I have NEVER had a leak in these pads.
I would definitely recommend these pads to anyone, they go above and beyond every other nursing pad on the market.

Not wanting to jump on the band-wagon and throw just anything in my mouth because a bottle said it was helpful, I did a little digging to see if there really is anything to this stuff. Here's a bit of what I found...
-a 2009 review of available studies concluded that glucosamine sulfate, glucosamine hydrochloride, and chondroitin sulfate used individually only inconsistently decreases arthritis pain. However, many studies have confirmed arthritis pain relief when you take glucosamine and chondroitin sulfate together.
-studies have consistently reported that glucosamine appears safe
-a review by Bruyere et al. about glucosamine and chondroitin sulfate for the treatment of knee and hip osteoarthritis concludes that both products act as valuable symptomatic therapies for arthritis and have some potential structure-modifying effects
-the OsteoArthritis Research Society International is recommending chondroitin sulfate as the second-most-effective treatment for moderate cases of osteoarthritis
-the European League Against Rheumatism (EULAR) supports using chondroitin sulfate in the management of knee osteoarthritis
Well, I'm pretty much sold. I encourage people who have arthritis to give it a try. It's not a big investment if it doesn't help you, but it may be one of the best investments you ever made if it does help! Those with knee arthritis should also check out Treat Your Own Knee Arthritis- cosamin helps with pain but does nothing to strengthen your knee muscles and make your knee more flexible.
