(More customer reviews)I purchased a pair of Futuro Energizing Ultra Sheer Mild Knee Highs locally for a reduced price...thought I'd give them a try. It's the first time I've worn any compression type hose. After a 6 hour day on my feet, my calves were very comfortable, the hose felt great...but my toes were painful!!! It seems that the compression of the hose kept pulling at my toes until a couple of them kind of turned under at the toe nail...my toes became so uncomfortable & painful that I had to purchase a pair of socks so I could get the mmHg knee highs off. Ouch! I see that some of these type of hose can be purchased with open toes. I'm not sure that's the way to go or not...all I know is that I can't wear these for extended periods of time. The knee high itself seems to be durable; although I wouldn't call these knee highs ultra-sheer (I think they are somewhat opaque,) I imagine that they would be considered sheer for compression hose.
