I am actually using it for "real" and it does hold up well.
I was actually looking for something to use on my upper arm and it f its well also.
The material is quite stretchy.
Now for the claims of heat retention,haven't really noticed anything there.
Only giving 4 stars because the velcro can stick to sweaters easily.
Also would like to see a beige/skin tone/light color that blends in more as black is so obvious depending what you wear.
I might just buy some beige material and make my own based on this design....
But...I do like this item overall to buy 2 more of it...
Much easier to use than a wrap around tensor bandage also.
