(More customer reviews)These are really great when you don't want to be hooked to the electric heating pad. Just pop it in the microwave for about a minute and a half and it stays warm for about 30-45 minutes. It also can be wrapped around your arm, leg etc. and attached with the velcro ends.

(More customer reviews)After purchasing this product for 20 some odd years, the color has suddenly changed drastically. BEIGE IT IS NOT; MORE LIKE BROWN. I contacted Futuro and was told the product has changed color permanently. I will be buying this type of stocking from another manufacturer who's product is represented in their advertisements more accurately. Don't expect the color to be anywhere near what is represented in the image (and not just at Amazon; I've tried other merchants' sites and this is Futuro's color representation on all of them.)

(More customer reviews)I hate nursing pads. I hate that they get all wrinkly and folded over if you have them in longer than five minutes, and how they're all heavy and yellow when you take them out. I hate that you can see them under your shirt, and that if you forget to change them you get chafed and sore. That said, I hate Lansinoh the least. I systematically tried every nursing pad made, from all price ranges and brands, and these are the least hateful. They modestly hide under your clothing, and let me go to work with my mind on my job, not my blouse. They're very absorbant, and don't leave you with that nasty damp feeling, even if you forget to change them for a bit.

Knee Walker with Swiveling Wheels Review

(More customer reviews)Overall I'd recommend this product - but with a couple words of caution.
A knee walker is great for use after ankle surgery since you are easily able to move about without weight bearing on the surgical ankle. Since I have limited strength in my hands, using traditional crutches and walkers was nearly impossible. So, for me, a knee walker was really the best way to move about. I have used this in my home and also in medical office buildings. It is very easy to use on level smooth surfaces, but a challenge inclines or slightly rough terrain. After two months using it, I'm very satisfied with the durability and usefulness of the Invacare knee walker. For the use I've gotten from it, I feel the price was reasonable & I am happy with the purchase.
A few words of caution, however. The wheels on this walker are not as large as on the "Drive" knee walkers and the walker itself is not quite as stable because of this. It is quite easy to "tip" the walker during turns or if you are not on a completely level smooth surface. I have had a couple near falls going in and out of the doctors office - the wheels cannot handle pavement imperfections or small stones/gravel.

It wasn't able to hold it's form or regain it's form even when it wasn't being used. It flattened like a pancake. So what's it's value? None in my book. I purchased a different one and am hoping for better results.

BUCK HAMMER- NEUROLOGICAL REFLEX HAMMER Review

(More customer reviews)Miserable and Awful are not bad enough to describe this piece of cr@p (this according to me as well as some unfortunate classmates of mine who made the mistake to buy this). It gets one star only because I can't give it zero.
First off, when I pulled this out on my neurology rotation, my attending said "oh, I see you bought a peds hammer. You might want to purchase an adult one as well". Nice to see that there was nothing of this noted in the description.
As far as quality goes...The rubber heads constantly fall out of the sockets so that they promptly become lost. The screw-in sharp end and brush spontaneously unscrew and those will promptly get lost as well. I guess you could always lather everything up with a nice coat of superglue, but that sounds like far more work than it's worth and pretty darn messy. So your left with a nice stiff piece of steel to with which to whack your patients. Sounds perfect if I was training to be in the mafia, but I'm training to be an MD.
Moral of the story: run far, far away

Nexcare Waterproof Bandage, Knee & Elbow 10 ct Review

I love their packaging (I've never had a single problem getting one out of its package and onto the injury, and I have three sons, so I've used PLENTY of them). They really couldn't be easier to use- they don't get stuck to your other fingers while you're applying them, and the paper frames keep them from getting stuck to themselves.
And they're the ultimate when they're on, too. They don't leave sticky stuff around the edges. They don't leave a rash when you take them off (regular bandages damage my son's skin with their adhesive; he's got atopic dermatitis). They don't even hurt when you take them off, and they'll stay on for days and days without looking grungy, dirty and curly-edged. And you can hardly tell you've got one on - they're so incredibly thin and flexible.
I wish I could give these ten stars, to counter that other review. Honestly, I've never known anyone to have a problem getting these on. They're well worth the price, even if it was twice what it is, because you only need one per cut (I always had to put on about a dozen band-aids, because they'd pull off, wash off, fall off).

But it serves it porpouse later on I'll get a kneeling pad with a bigger area for my knees cause that's the main reason you get this :)

I searched the web for this and Amazon.com had the right price and quick shipping as I needed it right away. I fractured my ankle and without the Knee Walker, my return to work would have been delayed at least two weeks, so the walker paid for itself. I used it for 3 weeks every day (home and work). It is very, very sturdy. Incidently, as I am writing this review more than a year after purchase (my bad) my husband of 200 lb sprained his ankle and he also used the walker. So it has gotten a lot of use and is stored away for future in case a relative or friend has a need for it. VERY VERY SATISFIED!

Core X-Back Elastic Knee Support Review

(More customer reviews)Thirty years ago I had an x-back brace by another manufacturer that worked well. It has been discontinued. I hurt my knee again but was not able to find an x-back brace in any retail stores. The non-x back models did not work for me. I got immediate relief when I put this x-back product on my knee. Even my hip and back felt better. I think it is because the x-back feature is similar to the way a physican wraps your knee. I have ordered a second x-back for my other knee.
27 Sep 2010 - UPDATE - After using this product for about a month, I need to revise my opinion. Although it worked well initially, it has stretched out of shape considerably and is now about one size larger than I need. It slips down my leg. Consequently, it does not provide as much support as it did when I first wore it. The product that I bought 30 years ago did not stretch and it gave me excellent support when jogging for years. The elastic on the new product is inferior to my old product.
I would now give this product a three-star rating.

The ad says the boot fits up to a 22" calf, but the product is a size medium which doesn't come close to fitting a larger calf. I would recommend using the product with knee socks because the plastic can be quite uncomfortable.

(More customer reviews)Having tried a patella strap from a different company, I would have to say that this one is extremely uncomfortable in comparison. What bothered me the most was that the velcro tabs would stick you irregardless of how you positioned the strap. I do appreciate the gel band itself however. It offers a lot more support than the rubber hose support used in the PT Patella band.
All in all, I would stay away from this product due to how uncomfortable it is. Also, there are no refunds due to "hygiene" issues (Sweat, etc. etc.). Save your money and try the bands by PT.
