(More customer reviews)This is the most expensive, insofar as I know, of the wide variety of glucosamine preparations marketed as products to relieve stiffness in joints caused by osteoarthritis-related erosion of the synovium. The efficacy of none of these products has been proven in double-blind clinical trials, though there are a considerable number of anecdotal reports of benefits. Upon the recommendations of several physicians, I have used various of these preparations for my arthritic knees and have sensed no greater efficacy of the present product than of any of the others, leading me to believe that the least expensive one is at least as good as the most expensive, and that none of them may truly be of benefit.
