(More customer reviews)I ordered this through Amazon for my mother. She had been using a hideous elevated riser. This one has hinges and is excellent for anyone who is concerned about hygiene and cleanliness. Furthermore, it blends in with the decor and is virtually unnoticeable because you can put your toilet seat on top of the riser so that you're sitting on a normal toilet seat, rather than a hideous and uncomfy riser. It is perfect for the patient and guests as no one will feel uncomfortable sitting on it. It is also an inexpensive and temporary solution to the toilet height issue. Switching to an ADA approved toilet or fitting a riser to the base of the toilet are expensive alternatives. Installation is really easy b/c by the time I got home, my father (who is not very handy) had it already installed and my mom was raving about it.
I highly recommend this product. It is well worth the money. I ordered an elongated one for the upstairs bathroom. Now the bathrooms are not eyesores, but rather functional for ALL members of the household. I am considering buying an extra one just for travel purposes.
BTW, The Wright Stuff was fantastic. Received my order in 3 days. I'm still waiting on the elongated one which I ordered through a different company.
