(More customer reviews)I've been cloth diapering my boy since he was a newborn and we have a supply of Bum Genius (older versions and the new 4.0), Fuzzibuns One-Size, and Charlie Banana One-size. They all work well but I really like the construction of the Charlie Banana diaper. Charlie Bananas, as people have said, are basically just like Fuzzibuns except they have an interior flap that lets you use either the cloth insert or a disposable insert (which is nice when you're out - no need to take home heavy, soggy inserts after a change). The interior of CB's is softer than the others, and the gathering at the legs (which is key for preventing leaks) just feels more sturdy. I have a couple well-used Bum Genius diapers and one of the problems is that the leg gathering starts to stretch and loosen, leaving gaps that cause leaks. The Charlie Bananas (and Fuzzibuns) let you adjust the legs to keep the leg openings snug, thus preventing leaks.
All that said, kids are shaped differently and what works for my chunky baby may not work for your stringbean. If I were a new mom just starting to cloth diaper, I'd buy one or two of each of the good ones (Bum Genius, Fuzzibuns, and Charlie Banana -- I'm not a fan of Happy Heinys) before committing to investing in just one type of diaper.
