They are somewhat velvety on the outside, are very flexible so you can actually forget you are wearing them, and they stick on great. This is a great size for bigger wounds. I recently had to bandage my finger for a whole month and that is when I discovered these. (I've always found fingers notoriously hard to bandage, the bandages always feel bulky. But with the smaller version of this bandage, you can actually pull them a very little bit taught if you are wrapping around the finger and then they really hold on well, while still being flexible.) This is the only brand I will buy now, and only the COMFORT FLEXIBLE FABRIC style.
