(More customer reviews)Since this all new to me (the compression stocking wearing) after a bout with DVT, I ddin't know what to expect. On pricing these knee highs, I found quite the difference.
I ordered these from Amazon due to the price, but at the same time purchased what I thought was a similar pair from a medical supply shop near me (at nearly 3 times the price) because I needed at least one pair now. These are much thinner and more like a nylon material when compared to the heavier and more elastic expensive pair.
I'm not indicated the product is not what it is supposed to be, just not what I expected. They are both Jobst products and probably just have different uses. These are more like a dress sock. I feel like they provide good support. I suggest ordering the next size up from what you first think. I had to return mine and get the larger size and still probably would prefer even one more size larger. These are difficult to put on, but seem to fit ok once on. I've worn them every other day or so for about 2 weeks and they seem to be holding up. I prefer a thicker sock for normal daily wear.
