(More customer reviews)Comfort-wise, this support does not feel much different than open-patella neoprene supports with one main difference - it is breathable. I like this because the support is much cooler to wear in the summer. Also, the "stabilizer pad" seems to provide a bit more pressure immediately around the kneecap. This is good for me because it seems to push swelling out better.
I realize people wear knee supports for a variety of reasons. My reason is that I have mild swelling around the knee cap. After wearing this support for a week or so, the swelling was markedly reduced. I feel the support is quite comfortable. I don't wear it 24/7. I sleep in it and wear it for brief periods (a few hours) during the day. I have been able to sleep in this support much longer than other supports.
I find neoprene too hot and sometimes just uncomfortable after a few hours. The elastic ones aren't very comfortable even that long. Ones that offer comfort, often don't provide much pressure. Also, this support seems to stay put while up and walking as well as any I have used.
I have had one of these supports for about 3 weeks. So far, this is my favorite one, by far.
