(More customer reviews)I bought this thing because I've used knee straps in the past for volleyball, and I'd heard about the therapudic benefits of magnets.
For normal day to day activites, this knee strap provides some relief. I'm not sure if its from the tension on my patelar tendon or some magical benefit of the magnets. Either way, though, it provides some relief to my tendinitis.
It's design, however, doesn't lend itself to use during physcial activities like sports. The V groove causes it to sit a bit too low for proper patelar tendon support during activities, and the strap (one size fits all) doesn't flex and give like other sports related knee straps on the market (Pro-tec). The velcro used in the construction is sharp. Hard to believe, but I actually pricked my finger on it while attempting to remove it.
