(More customer reviews)I am on amazon to purchase a different set of knee immobilizers. I have these and don't want to use them anymore only because they take so long to put on and take off. (My son sleeps with them every night.) First, the velcro straps are very long and keeps sticking to each other while you are trying to fasten each one. Second, each strap has to go through a plastic loop and is then pulled back on itself and then wound around the leg. This process can take about 5 minutes per leg. It might not sound like much but if I have to take them off in the middle of the night, the straps all stick to each other and it becomes a disruptive process. This is not the case with other brands that have elastic straps with velcro only at the end.
Having said all of this, for someone who is walking around and hard on the brace, and needs something really solid, this is the one. Once it's on you are not moving your knee - regardless of size or height. Hence, rating of 4 stars.
