(More customer reviews)I injured my knee in early July when I fell while biking and wanted a knee brace that would be solid and dependable but would also let me get back on the bike quickly. I tried a number of cheaper alternatives and stumbled across some high-priced options that were extreme overkill for a minor injury like mine. I also had the problem that I have very large legs (my grandfather was an olympic-qualified high jumper) so most of the knee-braces I could buy in stores could not fit. And the few that did, gave me a rash after a few hours wearing. Then I came across this brace which fulfills every one of my needs!
The XL size is truly extra large and fits my legs perfectly. The brace is non-latex, so there is no irritation even after wearing it for several hours in extreme heat. And the support is amazing with metal hinges in the side, strong compression, and straps to keep the thing from shimmying its way up or down your knee. It allowed me to get back on the bike after only 4 days off, and has kept me from any reinjury since. I even nicknamed it "robo-leg" for its near-perfect protection.
I really can't recommend this any higher.
