(More customer reviews)I'd seen reviews for these extolling their virtues with a little skepticism; "the only knee support used by Mikhail Baryshnikov" and such. I expected a nice, comfortable leg-warmer but was happy to find these have great, soft support as well. They don't bind behind my knees (yup, I wear a pair - knees often go wrong in parallel) and keep the cold at bay helping to minimize the additional aches & pains from cold winter weather. They hand wash in the machine with cold water/wash and hang dry quickly, snapping back into shape unlike so many other cotton or synthetic supports. I use them in layers while clearing snow and singly at work during the week. Except for the relief provided I hardly notice them; the fit is contoured and just snug enough to stay in place. Make sure you order the correct size; in my experience a little smaller size provides more support. Don't waste your time & money on lesser supports - this is the only I will ever buy.
