It's easy to put on and take off, though it takes a little practice to figure out how to put it on so that the Velcro doesn't end up scratching. And it's definitely too big if you want to wear it in any shoe. So, it's good for the initial healing phase, where RICE is called for - i.e., lots of sitting rest - but for the active healing it won't work well.
