(More customer reviews)As a Certified Pilates Instructor, I recommend this book to all of my clients who are mothers (recent or not so recent). They love that it is easy to read and understand. From a trainer's perspective this is important for motivation and the ability to stick with a program that needs to be squeezed in between feeding time and bath time. Adamany -based on her own personal experience - covers the absolute fundamental basics needed to re-discover the core muscles that are so abused during pregnancy and delivery. Once some abdominal awareness is regained, she does a great job progressing the reader through more challenging exercise sequences while also leaving room for "quick-fix" exercises, say a simple neck or lower back stretch.
