I started getting knee pain due to the repetitive twisting and weight shifting motion of the golf swing. Using the brace effectively stopped the recurring knee pain for me. This brace is not bulky like many braces tend to be, but still provides the support I need. It is inconspicuous when worn under a pair of khaki pants. The feature that allows the hinge and support mechanism to slip out so that it can be washed is a nice feature. The instructions recommend hand washing, but our front-loading washing machine works well on the delicate cycle. I ordered the model with the closed back after reading reviews of models with open backs chafing, and I am glad to have made that decision. The price is right, being a tiny fraction of what it would cost to purchase a knee brace from an orthopedic clinic, as a friend of mine recently did. It is comfortable to wear and I am very pleased with the purchase overall. The order confirmation to delivery process was prompt and efficient.
