(More customer reviews)I bought this boot in the hopes that it would aid me in walking, a couple of months after breaking my ankle and leg.
Anyone who has been or is going through the ordeal of a busted ankle knows the desire to walk after week's and week's confined to a bed with the damaged leg elevated all day !!!

At first I was overjoyed that I could walk crutch free for small distances and walking with my crutches was easier on me because I could use both feet. However, after a few days I noticed a burning in my leg. I dismissed it, for my foot and leg were always burning from the nerve damage caused by the surgical procedure of screwing my ankle and leg back together.
After arriving home and removing the boot I saw the reason my leg had been burning. There were two holes rubbed into my leg and my ankle, where my surgical scar was on the outside of my left leg. The holes were rubbed deep by the hard plastic on the side of the boot.
They included some little square foam pads when I purchased the boot, but there was no directions on what to do with them. In fact, there was no directions or explanations on how the boot fit on or how to use it at all!! JUST ..."HERE'S YOUR BOOT". (I hate that BTW)
So, needless to say, I could no longer wear the boot after only 2 or 3 trial runs. My ankle is still healing, but I found out that for compression, a $5.99 A.C.E. Bandage will work just as well and save you $50 buck's to boot!! (Pun intended)
I don't like to write bad reviews, for I feel every product has some value. This product may have some too. If worn properly, at the proper time, etc, etc. This boot may work for some folks very well.
Like I stated earlier, Buy an ACE bandage...It did and still does, me wonders.
