(More customer reviews)This book is full of useful information for people that already know the basics of the throws. There are better basic instruction books but, this book has lots of variations and tips and the classic throws. Kudos for Mr Scott taking the time to show and discuss them.
My only negative is that the pictures are black and white and sometimes are actual competition throws where the bodies are so entwined it is hard to dissect the technique. If would have been much better in color, but that would have made the book cost much more.
Lastly, for those following Olympic rules, i.e. USA JUDO, USJA, ETC, this book uses AAU Freestyle rules, which the author clearly states in the beginning. So, don't try to use a leg grab or something shown in the book at a non AAU Freestyle competition, or you will get disqualified. Doh!!!!
