(More customer reviews)This book is essentially a collection of short narrative about the struggles of various Native American cultures in what became the United States. The book is written from the perspective of the Native Americans, and thus has a different emphasis than many of today's high school U.S. History texts (at least not the same emphasis as mine had). I really enjoyed the reading. It was new to hear the side of the story we almost never consider. I would recommend this book to anyone.
