(More customer reviews)I ordered this product on Feb 19, 2011 and received it today (Feb 26, 2011) and I have to say this is one of the best products I have bought in my life. I'm in my middle ages now but when I was younger I ran track and cheerleading and all sorts of activities in school, not thinking about what it would do to my joints later in life. Well, here I am now and paying for every bit of enjoyment I had back then. I have severe pain in my knee at the kneecap and have tried every kind of brace that I could find. The problem with those is that they are solid and since I am older now and not as fit as I used to be, my muscles are a bit bigger than they used to be. So trying to get a solid one-piece brace to slide up my not-so-thin thigh and stay comfortably is a challenge.
With this brace there are 3 straps, one at the top to secure the brace over the thigh, one for the knee area and one for below the knee. You can literally velcro this in any position you want and however it feels for YOUR body, unlike any I've ever seen. Each velcro strap secures nicely and causes no restriction or discomfort at all, even with me needing to lose 30 pounds it stays comfortably and doesn't move. The ONE strap that goes behind the knee does not cause any binding or problems whatever and the others that go above and below the knee are extremely comfortable and able to secure to whatever size your leg is, be it thin or bigger than most braces allow.
I HIGHLY recommend this brace for ANY problems with the knee and if you need it secured or just a bit of compression on it, this is the brace to get!!!
