(More customer reviews)I live in Arizona and am barefoot all the time. As a result, my heels became a horrible mess of cracking, flaking skin. Over the years, I've tried to solve the problem by peeling the dead skin off by hand, or using a pair of toenail clippers to remove the callouses. This just made the problem worse. I've even used sandpaper, and amazingly that worked the best of anything I tried.
I knew a better tool/method was needed. Something that could rip down into the dead skin more effectively.
I then saw a video for this product online, and thought I'd give it a try. After just a few minutes of use, it was obvious this tool was the solution. It easily removed my thick callouses within only 10-15 minutes per heel. The screen is quite hard and turns the callouses into a fine powder.
You do need to be a little careful, as once you get down to bare skin you can cut yourself....and I did....twice. Guess I was too enthusiastic, having finally found something that works. In addition, my heels are now fairly sore from the process, but that,too, is going away after just one day. I'm going to wait a week....let some healing occur, and then do the whole thing again to remove some of the areas I missed the first time around.
