(More customer reviews)I am a physician and mother of 6 little childern and after I broke my ankle, I knew that I could not be very effective at home on crutches. I bought this brand of steerable scooters for my recovery for $224 and free shipping on ebay which was considerably less expensive than the $35 weekly rental fee. Since I purchased this over a month ago, prices are now into the 300's, but still more reasonable than other brands. I had tried out the brand recommended by the orthopedics office which costs over $800 and this one performed just as well. It is very sturdy, easy to maneuver and steer. The leg cushion is comfortable. Many other brands charge extra for the handy basket, but this one was included. Some talk about "all terrain" wheels.....I honestly did not attempt to maneuver on "all terrains" with a broken ankle which required a plate a screws to fix.... I just felt as it that would be silly to think I should be riding over grass! I found these wheels to be completely fine. I see no reason what so ever to pay more money for another brand. I have been thrilled with the product!
