(More customer reviews)I'm not sure if the mesh side is going to hold up or not from the constant removal/insertion of the gel array with its sharp corners, will have to just wait & see. I had not wanted to put the whole thing, outer cloth bag & all in the freezer, but I suppose in a big plastic bag. It feels good, it does what they say it will do (1 hour cold, at least), like I say, so far, so good. I wish I had had this product 20 years ago!!! Usually, I just put it on for prior to sleep, though I have walked around with it on as well. The gel softens & you pretty much have to keep adjusting the straps (when you walk around with it on anyway), but you end up with a nice snug wrap that does pretty good at staying in place.
If you're like me, with a couple of cartilage repairs & then ACL surgery (old style techniques), all on the same one knee, you've always wanted a wrap that goes all the way around your knee, fits snugly, but for an affordable price! This product almost does it all for me, almost goes completely around on my joint. I would'nt mind a couple more inches of length, it's certainly wide enough though, in my opinion.
