(More customer reviews)Having problems with swelling and discoloration in my lower legs, I am happy to say that these socks are very effective in keeping swelling to a minimum. One problem area for me has been the ankles which some socks do not compress enough due to the nearby heel construction. These Activa socks are very effective in this area. The socks are quite comfortable and the CoolMax happily wicks off moisture and keeps the feet dry even in Louisiana August temperatures. I wear them comfortably all day. Also very effective in eliminating aching in the legs. They really look and feel like long athletic socks. I am glad that I was attracted to try them because they were priced lower than some competitors.
