(More customer reviews)I had a DonJoy knee brace like this one from 2005 till 2007, two full years of using it almost daily.
I flipped my car on the interstate in Colorado. The result= left leg magulation!
Torn meniscus, ripped ACL, PCL, and stretched MCL and LCL. The artery was also severed.
I used this brace everywhere. Within 9 months of the accident, I hiked the Grand Canyon, Big Bend, Sedona Arizona, Canyonlands Nat'l Park, and I even snowboarded Durango Mountain Resort (after 1 year).
I had some slippage issues, but in all I was grateful for it. I wasn't a pro, so I hadn't spent $1000 on a pro getup. This DonJoy was inexpensive, and it rocked out and lasted the whole time.
It's now been almost 3 years since I've used the brace, and my knee's stable. I do everything out there, even though the knee and ankle still have some issues. I don't let those stop me from experiencing life.
