(More customer reviews)Amazon is about the cheapest you will find these. After paying upwards of $40/pair from local pharmacies I was happy to find them on Amazon. I've previously ordered the same brand, style, and size through an Amazon reseller and was satisfied.
For a big guy like myself, these tend to last about 2 months before they're to stretched out to maintain the proper compression. I use 2 pairs (alternating days) for about 4 or 5 months before they're pretty much useless. Around the forth the month the upper band starts to get really irritating around the knee as well as stretched around the ankle and it's time for new ones.
Be careful putting these on if you pull them up to hard the heel support tends to rip and then they're uncomfortable the whole time you have them. I always rip at least 1 out of each pair.
Aside from that the best way I've found to clean these is just to wash them with ivory soap while you're in the shower and hang dry over night. I know that's not the recommended practice but I haven't seen any negative effects doing it that way.
